Jill Morgan
With this months Motion contest, I thought I would go through some of my images from last years Pride party and fireworks. I had finally caved and downloaded the 2015 CC version of Photoshop. After doing some work in Camera Raw I put an image in PS. All of a sudden it had a ton of grain and looked like it had been over sharpened. Never had this issue before. Is there a setting I can't find in PS that is auto-sharpening my images? Guest
Just check your workflow options in ACR (bottom centre with an underline) you might have output sharpening for screen ticked...not sure how but.
Jill Morgan
I don't have output sharpening checked. Hmmmmm. Have to study on this Jill
Martin P Wilson
Or perhaps the default noise setting is off?
vpics
Sometimes the over-sharpened look disappears once you zoom into the picture.
