AlbertSnapper
Hi All, This may be of interest to some here... There's Open House London (UK) in September, with the opportunity for the general public to visit various buildings/ sites/ construction projects etc. in the capital. Many of these buildings/areas will be generally off limits to the public. If in the area, could be worth a visit for new photographic material/vantage points (check commercial photography restrictions first !) http://www.openhouselondon.org.uk/ Albertsnapper
Brian Yarvin
If it includes the Crossness Pumping Station, it might be worth a flight from NYC.
wiskerke
If it includes the Crossness Pumping Station, it might be worth a flight from NYC. Wow! But alas no: Please note that we will not be open to the public for Open House London However I think it is open this Sunday. Thank you for bringing this magnificent building to our attention. wim
Brian Yarvin
This is too bad. I was stunned by it and its story when I walked the Thames Path a couple of years ago. It's one of the things that makes London what it is in a factual and historical sense and is almost impossible to visit.
