radub
Hello if i upload news photos as editorials on other stock sites..could i upload them the same time here at Alamy as news?
Niels Quist
That really depends on what you mean by "editorials" - in my book it might easily refer to RF editorial - and you cannot mix these two types of licences. If you are talking about RM, Alamy does not require exclusivity. Niels
vpics
You should only ever submit news images to one agency, as they send images to picture desks on your behalf. The second agency should then receive the image as stock
ann
When I was about to sign up with a news wire service, a top expert on stock images advised me to send Different news images, when they might have continuing usefulness, to each agency. So I decided to Generally send different news images to each agency, to make it possible/easier to determine original source of images used without permission. Fwiw, specific images I send as news photos are only sent as news. - Ann You should only ever submit news images to one agency, as they send images to picture desks on your behalf. vpics
If they are sufficiently different, it shouldn't be a problem, but some people send exactly the same ones to different news outlets which defies the purpose.
