Possible change in Alamy policy over image search?

Just did a google image search for a photo on this web page http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-2763363/No-Glasgow-Tourists-booms-Edinburgh-Inverness-Aberdeen-Scotland-independence-vote-wounds-time-heal-largest-city.html

 

and up pops a response from Alamy here http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-Edinburgh-Castle-and-Ross-Fountain-Scotland-24680084.html

 

Maybe just one that got away, but hopefully not!

That's been happening for a while now (over 6 months). Alamy are gradually exposing their collection to the search engines. There were a couple of threads on this a while ago see http://discussion.al...lts/#entry31459 and http://discussion.alamy.com/index.php?/topic/2559-google-images-search-results/?hl=%2Bgoogle+%2Bsearch.

 

Alamy's comment at the time was

 

"This is a new route to bring new customers through to our site via Google images and for this we’ve introduced a new look comp to simplify the buying process for them."

I had a couple of goofy things happen when searching for my own images yesterday.  I think the site may be experiencing some growing pains....there was one evening this week or last where I couldn't even access the site.  I'm sure Alamy is aware of it and working on it.
