Alamy measures

Hello ,

 

I am new to Alamy and have just started to load images onto the system after passing QC. My question is - how long does it take for any activity to show under Alamy Measures? I only have a minimal number of images at present however have zoomed in myself on these to check them and I know they have been viewed by a family member. I would have expected these zooms to show up however they are still at zero.

Only zooms from known Alamy customers register. With only 4 images on line it may take some time to register a zoom. Zoomed images are only a small fraction of the Alamy activity. Many if not most sales arise without zooms. Good luck.

With four images well keyworded you can expect about four views a month, one zoom a year and one sale a decade.

Don't worry too much about zooms and things at the start. The "Build it and they will come" model is very true on Alamy. The more you build the more that "hopefully" come.

Thanks for all the replies and help. I understand how it works now. I realise I need to start loading at pace to get some decent activity and to see if I can get that one sale a decade down a bit!!!

I'll second that; it definitely applies to me as well.
