QC - newbie query

Recommended Posts

Hello all, i uploaded my first batch of photos and just got a "partially failed". All the images passed except for one which has an "image processing error". My internet dropped out temporarily during upload and what seems to have happened is that the same image uploaded twice, or partially the first time before the drop out. Anyhow, i am not sure what to do now. I don't seem to be allowed to manage the rest of the images. Do i have to re-load all the passed images again? Does the "pass" automatically apply to the already passed images?

Are you sure they have passed QC yet? If so just upload the missing one again. If your summary says' awaiting QC then the images will now be  in QC except for the one with the error. They won't go to 'manage images' until they pass.

Best wait till they do then upload the missing one  with the next batch.

Yes, i got the email saying "partially failed". When i looked at the images in the list, they all say "passed qc" except for the one that has the "image processing error". That image has actually already passed, ie the other copy passed. i think the failed one is when the internet dropped out and i thought it had not gone through so added again. Perhaps a corrupt version went through. Hope this makes sense.

I don't understand, If they say passed QC, then you should be able to keyword them in manage images. Only the partially failed image should not be allowed. You say that it went through twice and the one without the internet interruption also passed so there should be no need to resubmit. I'm not sure what you mean by 'not allowed to manage them' can you explain what is stopping you?
