Sold Photo Display

Good afternoon. I would like to know if you know how long it takes Alamy to show you the photos you have sold, since I have seen a photo of mine, bought for an advertising poster and not yet listed in the balance as a sale. Do you know how long it would take??? Thank you

It can take up to 6 months (Varies a lot) then time after that for payment

Anytime from this month onwards. Make sure to keep a record of what you've seen as evidence.

Alamy shows photos sold pretty fast, but the money is slower.  If the photo is exclusive with Alamy, and doesn't show up at all (not on the Alamy Measures for your images, not on the recent sales sidebar), you might want to contact the infraction team.   If it's been reported in Alamy Measures as a sale, then ask contributor relations what has happened.   I've had one sale reported that took months if not almost a year to be paid.  

 

By and large, sales (other than for newspapers?) show up in Alamy Measures when first contracted for by the client, not when paid.   Do document the poster and note the Alamy photo ID number of your photo.

Last time I queried one, received the following....

"Customers have up to 4 months to declare use, so please do let us know if you do not see this use in your reports after 4 months of the publication date."
