Office Suite for the budget conscious

Just wondering which one would be better to download LibreOffice or softmaker I only want something for downloading the sales report from Alamy Used to use microsoft office but don't use it enough to justify the cost of it

I use Apache OpenOffice which I think is probably pretty similar to Libre Office, I'm certainly not a power user though. Good for importing the image metadata download csv into a spreadsheet (use the UTF-8 option),

Don't bother, just use google sheets. Free.

My wife just bought a new MacBook Air 15" from Apple with 10% educational discount and they also give you a £130 gift card to spend via the AppStore. She decided to use it on MS Office Personal Edition so the price of MS Office worked out at about - £10.01 or something similar. So if you are buying a new Mac you can get an Apple Gift Card and use it to purchase the standalone version of MS Office 2022. Not bad for £10 ish.
