Does Alamy Accept Editorial Images?

Question

Hey All,

Does Alamy accept Editorial images?  I see "Reportage and Archival" images mentioned, but the descriptions don't match traditional editorial -type images like on other agency sites. If Alamy DOES accept Editorial, can you please give me a link that defines the guidelines?

Thanks in advance......

Tom

Alamy does accept editorial Images. Alamy content is essentially unedited.  It is left to the contributor to mark an image if it is a "Sell for editorial only" image. There is a tick box in the optional page of the Alamy Image Manager.

The Alamy Blog gives some insight on Editorial.

Cheers.

editorial is anything that has a recognizable logo, person, or artwork in the image.

on alamy there is live news, reportage, archival, and general stock (both commercial and editorial)

live news is your traditional what-you-think-of-when-you-say "editorial" news images that were taken within ~48 hrs of occurance; they have their own sales team and search engine. reportage is for news images over 48 hrs old. archival is for stock images taken with older cameras, and digital scans.
