A question for the Mac users on this forum

Recommended Posts

I have just received my new Mac mini and I am slowly getting used to it.  If I use it and then come back maybe 30mins or 2 hours later I have to log in with my password.

So can someone please  tell me how to eliminate the need to log in every time?

Good that you have your answer. I found this:

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu

If the lock at the bottom left is locked a8a5ee69528b666cac6f440e93618aaa.png, click it to unlock the preference pane.

  2. Click Advanced.

  3. Select “Log out after... minutes of inactivity”.

  4. Set the amount of time before the user is automatically logged out.
