0 Marianne
I've never had issues with very high res files uploading to Alamy - many of my jpegs are over 25MB when saved at level 12. My last upload was in May. To save space on their database it's possible they've changed the requirement but it's most likely a glitch in the Alamy system. I'd try again in a few hours or tomorrow. I had a problem with some files being rejected by the system for no apparent reason some years ago ("normal" res ~10MB files) and the next day it was fine. 0 John Mitchell
Try using Chrome (if you aren't already). It usually works. I've had problems uploading with FireFox.
0 Vincent Lowe
Check that they were saved as 'baseline' compression, not 'progressive'. Also see -
