What are these tractors doing?

Recommended Posts

Deep bed preparation, bed shaping, drainage improvement and others around those themes would be suitable for inclusion.  Looking at the attachment on the back of the tractor in the first shot they could also be sowing or plug planting directly into the beds after shaping.

Looks like deep bed preparation to produce standard width - 4 - 5ft - beds ready for seed sowing or plug planting of vegetable crops.  Used for things like carrots, parsnips and leafy veg.  Often covered with fleece for pest and frost protection after sowing or planting.
