Callie
Can anyone help identify this fungi, found growing on woodland floor, pine forest, in Brandenburg Germany? I had labelled it as Hygrocybe Cantharellus but I think this is wrong, maybe some type of the Tubaria species? Thanks
Callie
Many thanks Philippe, yes could be Hypholoma. Mushrooms are indeed hard to identify. This site is quite helpful http://www.mycokey.com/newMycoKeySite/MycoKeyIdentQuick.html - but not always!!
Callie
thanks, yes impossible to be certain - this is the reason I photograph very little fungi, I usually spend more time trying to identify it than it seems worthwhile to do!
