Another plant ID please....

Recommended Posts

I took these images at a garden in Cornwall, end of August. It was a private garden so no labels. I've tagged them as an Aloe, but not sure about that. Any help in finding out what they are please?

Cheers, John

Fascicularia bicolor.  It's a terrestrial bromeliad, one of the hardiest.  The red leaves draw attention for pollinators to the central boss of little blue flowers.  I've got a plant in my front garden.

John, you are a walking garden encyclopedia!!!

If we still had PMs I would have asked you directly instead of clogging up the forum.

Many thanks once again.

John.
