Images of people taken at events

Recommended Posts

Yes.

In the attributes section of Manage Images check the box to say how many people are in the images and then, when you are asked whether you have model releases say no.  The images will automatically be marked as rights managed and can only be sold for editorial purposes.

As John says they will have to sell as RM which means they can only be sold from elsewhere on the same licence terms.

Looking through your images it seems you have a number of images which Alamy photographers wouldn't sell as RF, but only as RM with the correct boxes ticked at the annotation, as they contain property for which you probably have no release, (designs, buildings, logo/text on garbage van and people), which you should consider carefully. This is a typical microstockish trait, but even micro stock wouldn't accept the garbage van with text and logo as RF unless editorial. (RF Editorial is not the same as RM). Regarding people there is no such thing as unrecognisable people, tiny people, and parts of people. Every of these should be counted as people at the annotation of the image and this will automatically make the licence RM unless you have releases.
