spacecadet Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I've noticed that ARWs take a lot longer that jpegs to process- 20 to 30 seconds to export a jpg from LR. Fair enough, I though, it's a bigger file. But the other day I was working on a PSD export from LR and exporting the finished work to jpeg took a couple of seconds. Is this because it's an Adobe format, or is there anything I can do to make ARWs export to jpeg faster? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MDM Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 It's not just exporting, it's having to do a raw conversion. That is why the PSD is much faster because it's already converted.
