Stu
I wonder if anyone can positively identify these plants for me, found on the marshes at Holme of the Norfolk coast a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance. Stuart.
spacecadet
The yellow one is gorse.
Marmot
I think the top photo is Bladder Campion (silene vulgaris), and the middle flower some sort of wild Scabious. I understand your problem. I'm just back from the northern Italian Alps and Dolomites and have spent hours identifying the wildflowers I shot.
Stu
Not so sure Mark. This is not flowers on a thorny shrub but a low plant. I was thinking it might be Birdsfoot Trefoil.
Nick Jenkins
The yellow one looks more like common birds foot trefoil to me (bacon and eggs)? The middle one are sea pinks, or Thrift, I think (Armeria maritima). The top one I have seen but don't know. nj
