bchris
I just came across a website which is hosting many Stock images, including many from Alamy. I wish to report the website for unauthorized use. Whom should I write to? The website: http://www.thefemalecelebrity.info/ I've found one of my images, almost full resolution, it appears to have been lifted from a news site. Some images appear to be screen grabs from Alamy search and Alamy blog (e.g., http://www.thefemalecelebrity.info/alamy.html) B Chris Edit: The second link doesn't work for me by clicking.. A search for "alamy" on the main site should work.
JohnB
I can't see anything. When I try to enter text in the search box I get pop-up advertising.

That's because you have incorrectly entered the hyperlink: thefemalecelebrity.info/alamy.html) should be: thefemalecelebrity.info/alamy.html EDIT: anyhow, steer well clear of the site, it will open multiple unwarranted pop-ups and/or tabs in your browser. May contain malware? Off to do a full scan after that. Just disabled links to this this site in my post.

bchris
Thanks for the heads-up, Danny and Kevin. I have pop-ups and ads blocked on my browsers, so I don't see them. But, please do let us know if your antivirus scanner detects any malware, Danny. John, here is a partial screen grab of the site after a search for "alamy." bchris
Scanned the computer for malware, and nothing found thankfully. Kevin Thanks for the update, Kevin. I'm happy to learn that there were no issues with your computer. On closer inspection of the website, none of the "download photo" links work--only the message "The file does not exist" follows. And, it appears that all images are linked to their original location; that is to say, it doesn't seem that any images on the website are saved on any specific server which the website is associated with(is that what "source mirror", which follows some of the images, means?) Some images even include the message "photo available for sale at Alamy...", which the fourth image on the screencap shows. Is this a website I can just bypass without concern? Weeellll...personally, I'd bypass it with concern! Personal view is to just forget about any possible infringements here and let it go.
TABan
Funny, I got a popup ad for Mac Keeper. And another from a porn site. If you're running Windows, I'd scan.
