Arlo
I have a digital copy made from the original analog photo. The original was shot in 1966 and the photo and camera data are gone. I was told by Alamy to use the scanner data instead. However, Photoshop has no option for adding that kind of info. Is there a work around? Will ExifTool work? Ideas? MDM
Unless you are an expert, you have no hope of passing Alamy QC with such an image - presumably a scan of an ancient print. You need to ask for permission to upload by the archival route. Otherwise you are wasting your time. EXIF data from a scanner would be totally meaningless so that reply you got is nonsensical. They only require EXIF data for the first upload but that assumes you are using a digital camera. Edited February 1, 2023 by MDM
spacecadet
As MDM says, if this is your initial sub, scans aren't the way to go-just use some ordinary photographs. You probably wouldn't get archival privileges until you'd been submitting-and passing QC- for some time.
