I am wondering if payment to a US dollar bank account is possible for contributors in Canada? If anyone does do that, have you been subjected to incoming fees? Paypal's exchange rate is really poor.

My bank has told me that I can't have my Alamy payment deposited directly in my US$ account in Canada. Perhaps if you have a special account, it would be possible. Best to talk to your bank. Paypal seems to be the best option for Canadians as the fees for international wire transfers are high (at least $15) and funds are automatically (by law) converted to CAN$.

I suspected as such, as my other agency can only deposit to Cdn. dollar accounts.
