Has anybody signed up to the paid-for Copytrack service?  I have been using the free option for around 1500 images and like their search results and the way that images can be overlaid. I have found the actual copyright infringements service useless - they just seem to send an email asking for payment and then give up.

I have asked Copytrack these questions but wonder if other Alamy contributors can help.

1) Can I import from Photoshelter as with Pixsy?

2) Can I pursue my own claims for matches found on Copytrack?

3) Can I stop and start monthly subscriptions at will?

I have not used their payed service. My experience with claims was the same as yours though i.e. "they just seem to send an email asking for payment and then give up."

In addition it took me 6 months to get an answer that the offending parties (3 cases) had simply not replied to their emails and the cases were thus closed. In addition I sent them numerous emails to get that out of them.

What I still find intriguing is their results (hits) are quite different to Pixys for me, they often flag what Pixsy does not and visa versa.

Yes I have noticed the same. Until now I have only uploaded images to Pixsy that I know have sold so it is a way for me to find out who the end user is and then any infringers.

That's why I asked the question about using Copytrack for the search function but pursuing myself or using another service. ie) simply paying for the search function at Copytrack.

Copytrack has ruined several cases/claims for me by making contact with the infringer and then doing nothing else.
