Hardy shrub ID?

Does anyone know what this plant might be? I called it "hardy" because it seems to be blooming (sort of) in winter.

That one's Skimmia japonica 'Rubella', John.  It's a male form so doesn't produce berries.  I've got a plant in my garden.

Thanks very much. There's a lot of this growing in my neighbourhood. Interesting plant, especially the intricate structure of the cranberry- coloured berries (I guess I shouldn't refer to them as blooms or flowers).

Those are the flowers, John.  Still in bud n your image but they develop to this:

Thanks again. I'll get back and photograph the flowers in a few weeks. Spring is just around the corner here (thankfully).
