Do you know which version they are offering at half price?

The good thing about Affinity is that you pay your money and then get unlimited updates, hard to get used to coming from Adobe I know. This means that they constantly develop their RAW support to accommodate new cameras. That's quite a feat so one thing to check in your demo is that you like the RAW conversion on your camera files, at least as a starting point.

Just seen Wim's post, yes they might change their policy re. updates but up until now, from the very start, all updates have been free and they've never suggested that they might change that policy.

I had V1.6.4.104 and got an update to V1.8.5 for free. So I guess you just get the latest. Not sure if an update to 2.0 will be free.
