I have had an Alamy exclusive image sold and it seems that I only get 40%. It was for Personal Use.

Alamy did float the notion that stained glass pics would be in the same category as copied 2D artworks but then on the forum accepted that stained glass would be treated differently ie) capable of being classed as Exclusive for 50% commission. That is why my ones which are only on Alamy remain marked as Exclusive. 

 

Anybody else sold an Alamy exclusive stained glass picture recently - if so what commission did Alamy retain? 

 

I'm wondering if this a mistake or if they have gone back on their word.

that doesn't seem to be 40%, but somewhere between 40 and 50%.

 

some kind of affiliation deal?
