"date taken" on Alamy image manager

It seems like a year ago, all of the sudden Alamy was automatically listing the date taken of a photo, on the optional page of the image manager. That was really great! Now, suddenly again, it seems to have stopped doing that. Any insight into this phenomenon? I really miss that function!

It's always automatically added the date for me, and still does. Perhaps it's more to do with losing exif metadata information in your editing process?

As Avpics says, mine is always there in the metadata, maybe it's getting stripped out, depending on software, I always use Lightroom
