FotoFinishMe
Hi All another question, am I correct that we are now allowed to do any form of editing on our pictures that we upload such as adjusting colors or touching up light and dark areas or is this OK, looking at a lot of the shots on Alamy I am amazed that they are all straight out of the cameras with no editing? Many thanks Tel Edited October 9, 2018 by FotoFinishMe
Brasilnut
Yeah, by all means go crazy on commercial shots. Less crazy on editorials.
Niels Quist
News images, and what can be considered as news images, should not be altered to look differently - but minor changes can be made. Should be close to how your eyes captured the situation. http://acontribhelp.staging.wpengine.com/how-to-sell-news-images/what-images-can-i-send-to-alamy-live-news/?section=2 quote A true representation of what you saw Nothing should be added, removed or altered (e.g. the image should not be lightened/darkened in a way that changes sunny clouds into thunderous clouds). unquote Niels Edited October 9, 2018 by Niels Quist
