DCSmith
Hi all Just shot some stuff while at an outdoor food festival and the promoters heavily promoting a hashtag for the event, asking attendees to use it on any image they uploaded to social media. Was wondering if I can put that hashtag in as a keyword here, which might bring them to them images I've shot while eliminating the chance of them just grabbing them, which they would probably do if they were posted to social media. losdemas
You can add any tag/keyword you want, but wouldn't it be a lot simpler (and more directly beneficial to you) just to contact them personally and licence such images directly?! DCSmith
I have a lot on my plate at the moment. Taking care of an elderly parent and shooting what and when I can. Don't have the time or energy to go after direct sales at the moment. Much better for my sanity to let the agency handle negotiations. Basically what I want to know is if #theirhashtag will show in google if it's in a tag, description or caption here.
losdemas
Quick answer then is - yes. Try any Google Image Search using a keyword of your choice. E.g. 'Hashtag Alamy'
