A positive story for Christmas

Recommended Posts

(Not that I do Christmas).

Amidst all the tales of jobsworths trying to stop us taking photos, here's how to appreciate the value of photography.

Setting up to film the Christmas lights in Halifax (the Yorkshire one) with a friend, we were approached by a security guard who told us that it was private property and we weren't allowed to take photos. So we went along to the manager's office. "Hi, we're making a film that features Halifax and we'd like to get a few shots of the lights". "Oh, fantastic! Yes of course you can. I designed the lighting myself and anything that might get some publicity for it would be good for the town".

NT and others take note.

OK. As you were. This is getting completely silly.

This is the Alamy Forum, and Christmas or no, we do not need your positive posts at a time when the sky is falling.
All kidding aside +1
