They are still sealed but presumably not of any practical use.

 

But is there an interest from collectors in this sort of material?

 

Do they have any monetary value?

I don't recall reading anything to suggest that these would have much value apart from perhaps to a museum. Expired (still sealed) film has a following and can achieve surprising prices, people are drawn to the unpredictability of the results but even that is probably in relation to the even more surprising cost of the new stuff.  I think those Kodak plates are too old to qualify for that market. On the other hand it's rare to find this type of stuff and it only takes two bidders to want them badly.

Thanks Harry, I would bid but it comes with all sorts of other stuff that I definitely don't want to be carting home - tripods and projection screen.
