Question about a sale

Here are the details of a sale which appeared in my account yesterday:

"Country: Worldwide
Usage: Editorial, Image use: Editorial Website Duration:up to 5 years Country:Worldwide Cost: $ 49.99 Additional Details: Websites, apps, social media and blogs (excludes advertising). Worldwide for 5 years."

Although it says "Cost $49.99", the sale was made for $8.00.

Does anybody know what "cost" refers to?
