Photos without any credits appear fairly often in The Times, in fairness they do credit the vast majority, but some slip through the net. Often this occurs when a photo is used as a part of a montage or within a quiz. 

 

I can sniff out a typical Alamy pic and will generally try to find likely uncredited suspects, but do they attract a fee?

Haven't noticed The Times using any of mine like that But the Irish edition of The Sun have certainly  used images of mine as backgrounds and paid for them. Sometimes the backgrounds are fractions of the original.
