And now it's my turn. Filezilla ftp was working fine until this week. I changed nothing. I had an error on my HINT from T-Mobile and now, nothing, I can't connect and what does barrely upload doesn't appear.

Status:    Connecting to 18.200.74.74:21...
Status:    Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status:    Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Status:    Logged in
Status:    Retrieving directory listing...

Command:    MLSD
Error:    Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error:    Failed to retrieve directory listing
Status:    Disconnected from server
Status:    Resolving address of upload.alamy.com
Status:    Connecting to 18.200.74.74:21...
Status:    Connection established, waiting for welcome message...

Testing with the wizard:

Connecting to probe.filezilla-project.org
Connection established, waiting for welcome message.
Response: 220 FZ router and firewall tester ready
USER FileZilla
Response: 331 Give any password.
PASS 3.62.2
Response: 230 logged on.
Checking for correct external IP address
IP 192.168.1.8 bjc-bgi-b-i
Response: 510 Mismatch. Your IP is 172.58.141.222, bhc-fi-beb-ccc
Wrong external IP address
Connection closed

I change the IP address t manual and it changes and I have a mismatch again.

Is there a way to upload EPS and JPG matching files, without using ftp?

Not being a computer wiz, when I had trouble with FZ I just changed to Core FTP. It works fine.

I'd like to have been able to fix the problem, by hey ho, I am where I am, with a working FTP client, I suppose. At worst it's a 20-minute experiment.

I guess that's next. Here's what happens with Cyberduck

Thanks for the suggestion.

NOPE! Coreftp fails the same as the rest.

If nothing's working and it used to........must be at your end? Your ISP, that is.

YUP! That and the world is changing. After chasing and asking, it seems the problem comes down to (maybe, but very likely) My Gateway, is somehow routing me somewhere that is IPV6, and all the software uses IPV4. They don't communicate. Or somewhere along the route from the gateway to the Internet to the providers connection, something is IPV6 and I hit a wall.

The best connection I can get, the Alamy server doesn't send me the directory listing. And the one time it got through, I couldn't get to the Vectors directory.

I've had the same ISP for a year, this just started going bad last week. At first I suspected Alamy, but then another and another ftp connection went bad. That made me think just what you did. Something here or in the connection. Then I downloaded four different ftp software programs, and none work. I was able to force EPSV on one and got to Alamy but that's where I couldn't change to Vectors to upload to matching files with the Metadata.

I can't imagine that I'm the only person in the world with this issue? 😀

IPv6 was created because the internet is running out of IPv4 addresses. IPv4 is a 32-bit address, whereas IPv6 is a 128-bit hexadecimal address. IPV6 and IPV4 do not communicate because they are in virtually different languages, 32-bit = 172.58.163.65 vs 128-bit hex = fe80::b20f:4a9:1831:9c07%21

Maybe someone knows the solution, so far I haven't discovered that.
