Gervais Montacute
Can you get a battery charger for the Sony RX100 II, or does it have to be charged in the camera. I thought I saw that you could get one for the RX100 Mk I but I can't find anything for the Mk II.
Linda
Yes,battery chargers and extra batteries are the way to go.I use these and had also used them in the RX1 and RX100 as it's the same battery as the RX100M2. It's 3rd party;some might object to using 3rd party batteries but I've used 3rd party batteries(only the more known brands with excellent feedback) for more than 12 years. http://www.amazon.com/Wasabi-Power-Cyber-shot-DSC-HX50V-DSC-HX300/dp/B008SFPMRK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386611978&sr=8-1&keywords=Sony+RX100+II+battery+Wasabi L
Gervais Montacute
Thanks Linda but unfortunately it won't work with a Sony NP-BX1 original battery. Good call though Linda.
Linda
Now that I can't remember but the could have worked with the RX1 and RX100 original battery. You can always just use the 3rd party with their charger when you need more battery power.
