Phil Robinson
Can the news feed please be checked regularly for duplicated submissions. There are certain agencies who seem to submit everything two or even three times. It clutters up the news feed and looks very unprofessional. 1

I'm with you Phil, In my opinion, the people uploading to Live News are not professionals who know how to edit, or they are just trying to move too fast? The agencies are, again in my opinion, just sloppy. I think that it is unfair to expect Alamy to monitor or edit Live News 24/7. That would take away from the work they need to do for all contributors to Alamy. Chuck

I think the people uploading to live news are a very varied bunch ranging from those without a clue to some real professionals who do an amazing job - with the rest of us somewhere in between. Assuming there is always someone checking submissions to see what is worth pinging out quickly to the papers (I would like to think) and editing captions/choosing which image to put on top, they could presumably keep an eye on the duplication.

Phil and all, My original statement did not come across as I had intended, Sorry. What I intended to write was: Some are not professional.
