What is it?

This White mass about 15ft up a tree, unable to reach or poke it as the tree's were on private land. Seemed to be fairly "sticky". All the rest of the trees were clean I have it as an insect egg nest, thanks in advance.

Thanks again Vincent I have tagged it with both spellings only because Google does and covers both for the sake of a miss spelt search, interestingly "Mold" produces 1486 images on Alamy, "Mould" produces 1562, as they say "what ever gets you in front of the audience works"🙄
