Flower ID, help appreciated!

Morning all,

I took this shot in mid August in Austria after some rainfall. The flower is actually a darker red in reality, I've processed it so it's lighter. Does anyone know what it is? Possibly a Black Dahlia?

 

Any help much appreciated.

My guess is that it's an  "Arabian Night" Dahlia. There are a lot of red varieties though.

 

A quick search of Alamy for that variety has a few similar blooms, and also a whole lot of completely different ones!

Dahlia certainly but I can't tell you which one.  There are just too many semi double reds.
