I am brandnew to Alamy. I know images from bridge cameras are not allowed, neither are images under 17Mb, both if which I have some. My question is: are those automatically skipped before QC or do I have to check every file on beforehand? Thanks for your answer.

You have to check them.

If your camera is over 6MP, and there haven't been any under that for years, they won't fail on size. I think the system may reject undersize images but I've never been there.

I uploaded one by mistake, the system does indeed tell you straightaway, no risk of getting in front of QC.

As spacecadet says, your camera produces images way over the 17MB uncompressed threshold, effectively 3000 x 2000 pixels, but if you did accidentally upload anything too small then you'll be told when it appears in the uploader screen so that you can delete it.
