Tereza
Hello, after selling photos on another platform, I decided to join Alamy too. I'm just taking pictures of places I've been to, food I cooked, things I've seen, and having fun. Alas, I'm confused by submitting process. I can't get through my first upload - my pictures keep being rejected for lacking information, description, keywords etc. Yes, I know my images don't have description or keywords, but I don't know when and how edit them. It seems there is no step in uploading process that would allow me to do so: 1. Chose your upload route. - Ok, I've done that. 2. Choose your first three images to upload. - Ok, done too. 3. Submit - Ok.... but what about descriptions etc??? 3. Uploaded images go directly to QA and get rejected for obviously missing info. So how and when do I edit the keywords etc? Thanks for your advices, T.
wiskerke
You will not need keywords or descriptions. You can always add them in the online tool after the quality control. Your image will however need to have the correct Exif metadata in the file. (It's in the very last lines of this pdf.) Basically do not use software that strips the metadata. Or in Photoshop do not use save for web. After quality control your images will land in the Alamy Image Manager. You have to be logged in to see it. This is how it works: pdf and a video and a very short FAQ. wim
