talkabout
Hi,I am from Germany. I have tried to serve the claim form, etc. via registered mail. There were several delivery attempts, but the defendant (UK) refused to accept it. According to Track and Trace the letter will be returned to me. Please could someone give an advice if I am allowed to return the papers via normal/ordinary post so that no signature is required on delivery?Thank you! spacecadet
Is this in the English courts? As long as you can show that delivery has been attempted to the defendant's last known address the form is deemed served. This means he cannot pretend he did not get it. Try posting here http://www.thelawforum.co.uk/ THere are lawyers experienced in court procedure there. I sometimes offer opinions on copyright there, hence the connection
