MyShot
When completed processing TIFF in Photoshop on Mac this box appears, 'could not save as IMG 7496 .jpeg' because write access was not granted. Can anyone please assist in fixing this problem please.
Betty LaRue
Try clicking ok on the message and save it again straight away (no need for a save as). Hope this helps, I got the tip from the Internet. I gather that Adobe has encountered a lot of bugs with Mac OS and have been doing a lot of work trying to correct them.
Martyn
Right click on the thumbnail, click on "get info" and at the bottom click on the read and write option….or at least that is how it works on my version…..

Martyn
Right click on the original thumbnail of the picture you have worked on and are trying to save….I have had this where I have opened a picture file in photoshop, done the adjustments and tried to save it….when it doesn't let me as I don't have the permissions, I minimise PS, right click on the picture thumbnail, go to get info and at the bottom of the box is permissions…click on read and write, ok, maximise PS again and save pic as….and that works for me !
