Jill Morgan
I was checking the filters on the Alamy search pages and thought I would see the percentage of photos that are searchable with the viewpoint filter. I happened to be looking at Rhinos and on a straight search of rhinoceros there were 13,000+ images. When I chose all the viewpoints (rear, side, front, profile) I was given only 1700 images. I usually put the viewpoint in images I think require it, but is this an often used filter tool? Are many photogs missing out because they haven't included it? Should this be added to manage images as a selection? Jill edited to add manage images line
