Hi forum,

I have multiple images I’ven taken of landmarks on vacations. Can I upload them on Alamy? I have images of the Flatiron building, El Capitan, CN Tower, Statue of liberty and much more.

Regards
Wilmer Santa Maria

You can upload them, but unless they're somewhat different than the thousands of others of these buildings, it's not likely but not impossible that they'd be licensed.  I'm in Nicaragua, and there are a lot of church exteriors I've learned not to bother with since everyone who visits photographs 99% of them.  Good idea is to check to see what has already been uploaded, and pick from your photos those which are better or different than the typical photos.    I've licensed more fish taken in my house aquariums than I've licensed landmark buildings.

Date is likely to be important, also all details of architect, location, etc.

It might be worth googling the landmarks so as not to fall foul of odd restrictions, like the Eiffel Tower at night.

It turns out the tower's nighttime light show was added in 1985 and is therefore still protected under France's copyright law as an artistic work.

Thus, it's illegal to share, sell, or publish photos and videos of the night-lit Eiffel Tower without prior permission from the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel.
