New commission for exclusive imagery.

Hi guys,

 

It looks like the Customer Service don't like (or understand) questions about exclusive images.

With the new commission structure - it looks like there is no reason to keep the imagery here on exclusive base (unless you make $25k+).

Alamy just gave me a reason to keep it exclusive - they can chase unauthorised usage for me (sound like a joke to me) as I can sell the same images on my personal website.

 

Any thoughts?

Chasing Infringement has value, but i don't understand why Alamy who claims this is a big money maker would only do it for, and I quote Alamy, 7% of the images on file.

 

In addition, as discussed in another thread Alamy does not adhere to section 16.7 of the Agreement in these cases, so this could create issues between you and your clients from your personal site.
