Pepper Plant problem

Bryan

Question

Some of my sweet pepper (capsicum) plants have come down with a strange malady, photo here

Maybe due to the high humidity within the greenhouse, but the plants affected are closest to the door which is left open during the day.

Any of you horticulturalists know what has gone wrong?

I've removed the diseased plants and the remainder appear healthy.

Hi Bryan

some of my pepper plants have done the same in the greenhouse.

Have found this:

Thanks Nigel, a useful link but, unfortunately, I don't think that it covers my problem. Their illustration shows wilting fruits, but the green peppers on my plants are healthy, it's the leaves and stems which have taken a hit. I guess that the peppers would follow, had I not ditched the lot.
