Lynn Palmer
I can usually stumble about in Google search and figure plant ID's out but this one eludes me. It was snapped on a farm in early November in North Central Florida, USA. Can anyone help me?
MariaJ
It reminds me a bit of a mangosteen fruit, but I've never seen one growing on the tree.
Lynn Palmer
Thank you Maria. When it looked like I'd stumped the forum here I posted a request for ID on the FAA forum. Based on input there I've determined it looks like a Harlequin Glory Bower or Clerodendrum trichotomum a.k.a. Peanut Butter Bush. I'm going back out there soon and will take a photo of the entire bush just to be sure. -Lynn
