Hi all, 

I have been part of alamy since 2011 I think when I create the account as part of my college degree. Only uploaded 7 images to get started and promised myself I would be a regular contributor. Long story short children came a long, finished college and completely forgot about alamy, until I received my first sale email a couple of weeks ago  So have decided to try again!!

 

I have just uploaded various images mostly still life and they are currently with QC. But any advise on tags and captions will be greatly received as this is where I fall short..... I currently have 4 images that I have tagged today but once the tags have been updated will the images automatically go up for sale or do I need to add a certain number of tags first? 

 

Look forward to seeing what this year brings and hopefully keep up with contributing. As said before any feedback or advise is greatly received

Theres lots of well written posts on the forum about captions and key words, you'll be spoilt for choice. 

 

 For real examples; click on the blue number next to images you'll see what people are actually submitting and how we're captioning and keywording.
