Alamy Upload Clarification

Question

Hi while uploading the image for sale on Alamy should I upload cr2 files or JPEG, which is the Alamy wants and what is it that is in more demand? woulld really appreciate if anyone thorws some light on the issue. Many thanks

Deefinitely JPEG for uploading photos, they don't accept any other format

 

 You will find the detail you need to be a succesful contributor on the contributor home page. It will take some time to read and digest thoroughly, but the time spent will be rewarded. If you are new to stock photography, it is essential reading. If you have come from another stock photography background, the content of the contributor page will tell you about the differences you will encounter when submitting to Alamy.

 

What you don't find there you will discover by browsing these forums - nearly every question asked has been answered previously, at one time or another

 

ETA. If this is your first submisison you must submit precisely three images, and make sure they are technically perfect before submission as each one is closely scrutinised.
