Southsnapper
Don't know if this topic has already been dealt with. Having a go at 360 panoramas stitching using PTGui. I believe the software automatically embeds Photosphere XMP metadata. Is this sufficient for images to auto rotate when submitted to Alamy or do I need to embed something else before submitting images. From my research I think the auto rotate feature is embedded into the host browser i.e Alamy's web site. Would like to know before submitting initial images. MDM
You would probably be best contacting Alamy directly about this as it looks like nobody on the forum is doing this. I've never seen it discussed.
Southsnapper
Thanks for the response. Alamy have rotating and non rotating 360's and the price difference is significant. I shall contact the team as you suggest.
Southsnapper
Alamy QC team answered this for me and as a result my first set of 3 test images have passed QC. The process was straight forward after having created the panoramas with the appropriate metadata embedded.
