Jeffrey Isaac Greenberg
PS AI Denoise setting / first use Amount default setting seems to be 25. But 70 looks better in magnified box. It gets rid of pixelated edges seen at 25...? Leave "RAW details" checked? Leave "Super resolution" unchecked? Is it correct that AI Denoise does NOTHING wrt a. color balance b. contrast c. saturation d. levels e. other processing "improvements" in other words, one must still do all non-noise processing...? comments appreciated regards jg
Mark Scheuern
The "Amount" slider is relative to the minimize or maximum amount of noise reduction it decides should be applied for the image you're working on. I thought the default was 50? Yes for "RAW details". In fact, I don't think it can be unchecked. Yes for leaving "Super resolution" unchecked, unless you need to upsize an image. Yes for it doing nothing to anything else. Edited April 16 by Mark Scheuern

Mark Scheuern
I should add I've only used AI denoise in LR, too, but I think it's the same in PS.
