Geoff Taylor
I am trying to upload images and searching the threads shows other have had problems when the size over 20mb or so. Knocked one down to come in at 18mb and it uploaded no problem, others just sit with a spinning wheel. Some my jpegs are up at the 30mb + size, image quality is of importance especially during the QC stage, if I start adding compression then the quality is going to come down. I am puzzled as to what is wanted, more detail in shot means bigger file size which equals more compression required - worse quality. Is there a proper solution to this please ?. Steve F
Hi Geoff. I've had similar problems with larger file sizes or 60-70+ image uploads. I would try using the FTP approach: https://www.alamy.com/contributor/how-to-sell-images/how-do-i-send-you-my-stock-images/?section=4&_gl=1*1s3jpcc*_ga*MTg3ODgwNjkzMi4xNjg4MDQyMzI1*_ga_M5V9H9N7G8*MTcwNDg3OTQwOC41NzIuMS4xNzA0ODg4ODYxLjAuMC4w I use Filezilla. Geoff Taylor
Thanks, sorted it out, I was reading the filesize requirements wrong too, that didn't help. Now got my first images through QC after creating an 'Alamy' recipe in Capture One for output.
